We are currently seeking a compassionate and professional Undertaker to join our client based in North London. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing funeral arrangements and providing support to bereaved families during their time of need.

Duties:

– Meet with families to discuss funeral arrangements, including choice of casket, flowers, and service details
– Provide emotional support and guidance to grieving families
– Prepare the deceased for viewing, ensuring they are presented respectfully
– Ensure all legal requirements are met for burials or cremations
– Manage administrative tasks such as completing death certificates and obtaining permits

Experience:

– Previous experience working in a funeral home or similar setting
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
– Empathy and compassion when dealing with grieving families

Preference will be given to applicants with prior experience of working within the community local to the role and prior experience of working as a Funeral Arranger and/or Operative.
