Full-time Office Administrator
As a well-established family business we are seeking a full-time Office Administrator to be part of our team.
Based at Maldon and reporting to our Manager, this key role will cover all the back office administrative tasks related to our business.
The position requires good administrative skill, attention to detail and a good level of computer literacy.
Tasks include:
- Accurately input data to the funeral management system such that the documents produced are accurate and well presented ready for signature.
- Deal with suppliers to order coffins and other relevant supplies.
- Carry out invoicing and payment receipt processing
- Coordinate and maintain central stocks of literature and forms used in offices
- Ensure timely distribution of key documents to relevant third-parties such as crematoria
- Receive telephone calls from other offices/clients and third parties.
- Maintain the working environment, keeping it clean and tidy at all times.
- Assist with promotional events such as Careers Fairs, Community events
- Assist with window displays when required.
- Occasionally arrange funerals to cover staff absence/sickness
No previous experience in this profession is required as full training will be given
Salary will be in the range £28,000 to £33,000
